We often hear people complaining how science ruined magic and wonder. But I disagree. Nothing is more magical than discovering how things work and recreating those “wonders”. 
I took the liberty of changing “he” to “she” and “him” to “her” in Dr. Curie’s quote. She would have wanted it.
